Otto Armleder Memorial Dog Park.
When Milan and I were out on our morning walk, a lady was telling us about a dog park
called Otto Armleder Memorial Dog Park. It was so nice outside that I thought we should
go check it. And Milan agreed. The dog park was huge and there were a ton of dogs there.
It took him a little bit to warm up to the place but then he started getting into it.
I think Milan had a lot of fun. He slept for the rest of the day.

Black Friday party at HighStreet Cincinnati.
After Light Up the Square, I went to a party at HighStreet Cincinnati. HighStreet is a
design studio and store flaunting "Fierce objects, design and London style." Amazing store.

Macy's Light Up the Square.
People arrived early and stayed late as Cincinnati officially welcomed the holiday
season with "Macy's Light Up the Square," the annual lighting of the holiday tree
on Fountain Square. And I was nervous for nothing because I got some great shots.
The tree sparkled with 20,000 white lights and an illuminated, five-foot-tall red star.
It is among the tallest holiday trees ever on the Square, measuring some 60' in height.
Mayor Mark Mallory with the help of Northern Kentucky actor, Josh Hutcherson lit the tree.
Local party band Naked Karate Girls provided live entertainment throughout the celebration.
I've never seen so many people on the Square. It was a great night, and an amazing event.

Lasagna lunch at Via Vite with a side of Bearcats football.
There's an amazing Italian restaurant on Fountain Square called Via Vite. They have a
special Lasagna Lunch that I've been eagerly waiting to try. And today seemed like the
perfect day. Via Vite had lasagna and the Cincinnati Bearcats were playing Illinois at
noon. I tweeted that I was planning on going to Via Vite and watch the Bearcats, and
somehow accidentally organized a Tweet-up for lunch. I met up with a whole bunch of
my Twitter friends... @ViaVite, @RecycledBin, @AmyFab, @UrbanCincy and @ZacZero.
It was a lot of fun.
The lasagna was to die for. So good in fact, that I completely forgot to take a photo of it.
And just started stuffing it in my mouth. Via Vite hooked us up with a dessert sampler.
And we got to try their amazing chicken salad. Oh geez, I can't wait to get that as a sammich.
Oh and the Bearcats won too. It was a really great afternoon of brilliant food and new friends.

Rock 'n Skate on Fountain Square.
Okay, so I'm not even going to lie to you, I'm pretty freaked out by tomorrow's tree
lighting ceremony on Fountain Square, "Light Up the Square." It's a HUGE production
and I'm the photographer. This evening I went down to the Square to do some test shots.
Only problem... it was raining and cold and windy and there weren't a lot of people out.
I didn't accomplish anything I set out to accomplish. The test shots were a wash. And
I still have crazy nerves about tomorrow's event. But local band and CEA Award nominee,
Eclipse blew the socks off the place with their amazing performance.

Acoustically awesome!
I just set up a little surround sound speaker system around my sofa. Now I can listen
to music from my laptop while sitting on the sofa. It sounds really pretty impressive.
I put little satellite speakers at each end of the sofa and put a little mini sub-woofer
centered under the sofa. And just when I thinking I couldn't make it any better...

Turkey Bowl on Fountain Square.
Thanksgiving got an early start with a wacky event on Fountain Square today at noon,
Turkey Bowling! Yep, bowling frozen turkeys on the Fountain Square ice rink, because
it’s silly and fun. The person who knocked down the most pins in three throws will
win $100 cash. And I was there to capture these photos to share with you...

I love It's Just Crepes.
I went there today for lunch and they bought me a crepe. I was talking them up
and defending them on Twitter against an overly-harsh food critic. And to say thank
you, one of the owners Karrah, bought me a Turkey Pesto crepe. How cool is that?
